Prince Harry's "perfect scenario" of working part-time as a royal is "off the table" amid an ongoing feud with his brother Prince William, the Royal Editor of GBNews.com has said.
Speaking on The Royal Record, Svar Nanan-Sen said the part time role - which Harry initially set out to secure until leaving the monarchy - seems unlikely to be granted under King Charles and is "not ever going to happen" when William takes to the throne.
Speaking on the podcast with GB News' Royal Correspondent, Cameron Walker, Svar said: "It was said that Harry felt that the part time working royal role, that he and Meghan initially went for before it was agreed that it wasn't possible and they stepped away from the monarchy, was his perfect scenario.
"And so there's still a part of him when looking back at the Royal Family, there's still a part of him that would want that and maybe still hopes for that.
"But what we're hearing with his relationship with William, I don't think that's ever going to happen.
"It seems to be completely off the table. It's obviously not happening under King Charles, and it certainly looks like it won't happen under William."
Cameron added that there is a "lot of nostalgia" for Harry with the Royal Family and losing his military titles "really hurt" him.
He said: "There's a lot of nostalgia there for Prince Harry - having lost what he did and what really hurt him was losing his military titles when the late Queen took those away.

PA"So I guess we'll have to see when the security issue is resolved, if it is ever resolved, then we will see if there is more of a return to the United Kingdom from Prince Harry and indeed Meghan and their two children."
The Sussexes have gone public in criticising the Royal Family in the years since leaving the Firm in 2020.
Tensions grew between the brothers after Harry and Meghan unleashed allegations against William and his wife Princess Kate.
It is believed that Harry has been told to "start looking forward now, rather than looking back on his past", even by "the person closest" to him - Meghan.

Cameron said: "What has also been alleged is that Meghan and others really want Harry to start looking forward now, rather than looking back on his past and being bitter about it and try and look towards the future.
"Him as a father with two young children who he clearly cares for deeply, him carving out a role for himself in this future world.
"Rather than constantly looking back and constantly getting angry with the various various legal lawsuits he has got against British tabloids, the lawsuit he has still got going on with the Home Office over police protection.
"And even the person closest to Harry, Meghan, wanting him to look forward. So will Harry be persuaded by that advice?"
