Ellie Costello has defended Prince Harry, saying he “can’t win” in the situation he has been thrust into.
The Duke of Sussex had a whirlwind trip to the UK where he cleared his schedule to be by his father’s side after learning of his cancer diagnosis.
After a brief meeting, Harry was then heading back to the States to be with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children Archie and Lilibet in a trip that has prompted hopes of a reconciliation.
Some have accused Harry of using it as a publicity stunt, leaving GB News host Ellie Costello to say Harry has been put in a tough spot.
“I don’t know if Harry can win in this situation”, she said.
“In a way, he did the right thing, getting on a plane as quickly as he did and being by his father’s side.
“Then it was a very quick meeting. 45 minutes and he was gone again within 24 hours.”
