The Duke of Sussex moved to the US in 2020, though it is not clear what visa he entered the country on

Prince Harry is "sick to death" of the drug saga as his visa row continues to drag on, according to an insider.

The Duke of Sussex admitted to previously taking drugs in his 2023 memoir Spare, which caused a conservative think tank to launch a major Freedom of Information request.

The Heritage Foundation, which has strong views towards mass immigration, wanted to understand whether Prince Harry lied on his immigration forms when moving to the US.

Visa applicants must admit whether or not they have ever taken drugs, which can impact their eligibility.

Last week, some documents related to Harry's visa application were released, although they were heavily redacted.

The papers read: "Plaintiffs allege that the records should be disclosed as public confidence in the government would suffer or to establish whether the Duke was granted preferential treatment.

"This speculation by Plaintiffs does not point to any evidence of government misconduct.

"The records, as explained above, do not support such an allegation but show the regulatory process involved in reviewing and granting immigration benefits which was done in compliance with the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. § 1103 and applicable rules and regulation."

The Heritage Foundation has since announced it is launching a second lawsuit to discover the truth about Harry's immigration forms, with Nile Gardiner telling GB News the "fight continues".

A source close to the Sussexes has told Closer: "Harry and Meghan are sick to death of this saga. They can’t believe it’s still dragging on and find it excruciatingly annoying how it always seems to rear its head at the worst possible time.

"They’ve cultivated a squeaky clean, wholesome and responsible image and want to appeal to families and ethically-minded professional types.

"Yet because of this ongoing campaign by the Heritage Foundation - which they feel is ridiculous – the ‘drug scandal’ element is being dragged out in public and Harry is being raked over the coals and branded a liar."

They added: "On one hand they’re pleased the application was sealed in large parts, that’s something of a small win.

"But it doesn’t take away from the fact they’re up to their necks in more drama and scandal – and one they have little to zero control over. All they can do is hope that it’ll go away eventually."

The insider claimed: "It’s the last thing they need right now and a real kick in the teeth – they feel humiliated."
