Prince Harry and Meghan are "fighting dangerous Britain" but are "ignoring kidnap and civil unrest warning in Columbia," a royal commentator has claimed.
The Vice President of Colombia Francia Marquez, announced the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be visiting the country at her personal invitation yesterday, but did not reveal the exact date of the trip.
However, concerns have been raised over the couple's safety as both the UK and US Governments have issued travel alerts for the country amid the risk of terrorism, civil unrest and kidnapping.
Last week Harry told the ITV that he would not bring his wife to the UK due to safety issues.

Speaking to GB News, royal commentator Charles Rae said: "I can't quite believe it. Yesterday when I heard the news, I had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1.
"They've accepted this invitation to Colombia. The UK Foreign Office advises against travel to certain parts of Colombia. Cali, which is one of the places where they're going, being one of them.

"The United States goes even further and says citizens, please change your plans if you're going to Columbia because of the civil unrest and possibly of kidnapping.
"I'm not suggesting that Harry and Meghan are in any danger of being kidnapped because they'll have total security. But this is ridiculous.
"This guy is fighting Britain because he says it's too dangerous for him to bring his wife here.
"That's the wife who doesn't really want to come here in any case, and yet, he has accepted an invitation with his wife to go to Colombia. You couldn't make it up."

ReutersThe Sussexes' decision to accept an invitation to visit the country from its Vice President Francia Márquez comes amid Harry's ongoing security battle in the UK.
One British former royal protection officer, who served Harry's family for several years, told The Mail: "They have chosen to visit one, if not the most, dangerous countries in the world. But nothing amazes me [with Harry and Meghan] these days."
The UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office "advises against all but essential travel to parts of Colombia".
Meanwhile, the US Department of State issued a travel advisory for Colombia stating: "Reconsider travel due to crime and terrorism.
"Exercise increased caution due to civil unrest and kidnapping. Some areas have increased risk."
It comes after the duke and duchess took a four-person security team to Nigeria for their tour in May amid concerns over the risk of violence, terrorism and kidnapping in the country.
In Colombia, the Sussexes will "engage with leaders, youth and women" and join activities related to "cyberbullying, online exploitation and the mental health impacts of these threats".
Márquez's office said the couple would "experience the rich heritage of Colombia" and help "illuminate Colombia's role as a beacon of culture and innovation".
