The Duke of Sussex returned to California this week

Prince Harry is being tipped to hold "crunch talks" with Meghan Markle, royal sources have claimed.

The Duke of Sussex returned to California this week following a three-week solo tour of New York City, London and Lesotho.

According to a source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will sit down with their US-based team to thrash out a "new strategy" following Harry’s successful solo trip abroad.

The source added that Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, are still focused on moving forward as a unit but will undertake more solo engagements to highlight their own interests.

The insider told The Express: “Harry is due back in California this week, and a debrief is expected following his travels.

“There’s a lot to discuss so the team has been summoned for a meeting toward the end of the week.

“The success of Harry’s solo endeavours has shown that a new strategy might be needed.”

GB News has approached the Sussexes for comment.

The duke reunited with his old friend Prince Seeiso of Lesotho last week. He gave a passionate speech around a bonfire about the work his Sentebale charity has been doing.

Prince Harry first travelled to Lesotho in 2004 on his gap year, seven years after the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

Prince Seeiso and Prince Harry co-founded Sentebale two years later to help children and adolescents struggling to come to terms with their HIV and AIDS diagnosis.

The late Princess of Wales was passionate about ridding the stigma of Aids in society.

Before his trip to southern Africa, the Duke of Sussex embarked on a solo visit to London to attend the WellChild Awards.

During his brief stay in the UK, Harry did not see either his father, King Charles or his brother, Prince William.

The duke's UK visit was preceded by another solo trip to New York City three weeks ago.

While Harry has been on his travels, Meghan remained at home in Montecito with their two children.
