Prince Harry has shared a rare glimpse of his California mansion amid claims the property has suffered a "£1million price drop", as reported by GB News.
Harry has appeared in a new video message filmed from his veranda to promote the 2025 WellChild Awards.

The video comes as property experts told GB News that the mansion's value has been impacted by recent wildfires in the region.

The £23.3million property, located about 90 miles north of Los Angeles, has reportedly suffered a potential drop in value of over £1million due to the natural disasters affecting the area.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have called the property home since 2020, residing there with their children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
The mansion sits in what experts describe as a "high fire risk" region, though this hasn't deterred the couple from opening their doors to friends and loved ones forced to evacuate from the devastating southern California wildfires.
Property expert Terry Fisher of We Buy Any Home explained the potential impact of the wildfires on the mansion's valuation.

"For a luxury property like the Sussexes' home, which is currently valued at £23.3million, the immediate impact of recent wildfires might result in a valuation adjustment of around five to 10 per cent in the short term," Fisher told GB News.
This adjustment could bring the property value down to the £21-22million range, he noted.
Fisher highlighted that higher insurance premiums in fire-prone areas may contribute to buyer hesitancy.
However, the expert suggested that any significant long-term drop in value is unlikely, citing the property's "state-of-the-art fire safety features and the broader prestige of Montecito as a luxury enclave."

"The property's unique appeal and the steady demand for homes in this exclusive neighbourhood will likely stabilise its valuation in the mid to long term," Fisher added.
The affluent nature of the area's buyer pool helps maintain steady demand, despite environmental risks.
The mansion's grounds played a crucial role in the couple's decision to purchase the property, with two particularly meaningful palm trees catching Prince Harry's attention.
Speaking to The Cut, Meghan previously revealed: "One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees. See how they're connected at the bottom? He goes, 'My love, it's us.'"

PAThe extensive gardens feature manicured lawns where the family enjoys outdoor activities, including football games and a slip 'n' slide used by Prince Harry and Archie.
The couple has demonstrated their community spirit by welcoming those affected by the Eaton Fire to their home.
They have also stepped out to support wildfire victims in the local area.
Despite the environmental challenges, Meghan has previously expressed their deep connection to the property, stating: "We did everything we could to get this house. Because you walk in and go... Joy. And exhale. And calm. It's healing. You feel free."
