In his role as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Dragoon Guards, Prince Edward attended a cold weather operator course in Harju County.
The annual training exercise involves soldiers spending two nights in the forest, where they learn essential survival skills including building camps, making fires and sourcing food and water.
Following the training exercise, the Duke visited Tapa Camp, an army base located in Laane-Viru County.
Later that evening, Prince Edward attended the Battlegroup Officers and Warrant Officers Reception, which was held at Vihula Manor.

Lady Louise is set to celebrate her mother's milestone birthday before heading back to Scotland.
Lady Louise Windsor, currently in her third year studying English at St Andrews University, will be able to attend her mother's birthday celebrations.
The timing works perfectly as the spring semester at the Scottish university doesn't begin until January 27, a week after the Duchess's birthday.
Lady Louise has been studying at St Andrews since September 2022, when she left the family home to pursue her degree in Fife.
