Prince Harry has been blasted for "snubbing" King Charles instead of standing up to Meghan Markle over Archie's party.
The Duke of Sussex will immediately fly back to the US following King Charles's Coronation ceremony.
Prince Archie's fourth birthday falls on May 6, the same day as the historic event, and Prince Harry is planning to rush back to Montecito to spend the evening with Meghan and his children.
Royal commentator Angela Levin blasted the decision and stated that the Duke should have asked his wife to delay their son's birthday party until the following day.
Levin told GB News: "Well, I think he will sort of half pretend he's not there.
"I don't think he wants to accept the reality of it.
"He will come but I think him going immediately and catching a plane back is actually a snub and a very appalling thing to do.
"I worked out he couldn't get there (Montecito) till 8pm. A four-year-old doesn't need a birthday party at 8pm.

"[Archie will] have been jumping and getting excited all day long. He could have easily waited for his daddy the next day.
"I think that Harry was told he had to be back by a certain time and Harry could not actually be strong enough to say to his wife, look, 'just put it off for a day, please'".
It comes as Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell told GB News that the Duke of Sussex does not want to spend much time around the Royal Family and that "there is no chance of reconciliation anytime soon".
He added that Prince Harry will be sat "ten rows back" from the senior members of the monarchy as he is no longer a working royal.

Burrell said: "He doesn't want to spend much time around them.
"There is no chance of a reconciliation anytime soon, I'm afraid - I think he will get a very icy reception from the Windsors.
"He will be sitting ten rows back. He will not even see his brother or his father in that time.
"He will be in and out in a flash."
