The Duchess of Sussex made a poignant fashion statement at the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver, rewearing a black and burgundy Givenchy coat that holds special significance.
Meghan, 43, first wore the designer piece during her arrival in Sydney in October 2018, just one day before announcing she was expecting her first child, Prince Archie.
The meaningful outfit choice came as the Duke and Duchess attended a Vancouver Canucks vs. Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game to promote the Invictus Games.

The coat, from the same fashion house that created her wedding dress, served as a subtle nod to her firstborn, who is currently at home in California.
During a friends and family dinner in Vancouver on Friday evening, the Duchess of Sussex delivered an unplanned speech where she confirmed her children would not be attending the Games.
Meghan took to the stage, admitting she "hadn't planned on speaking" before introducing her husband.
The duchess revealed that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet would be "cheering on from California" rather than joining their parents at the event.

"We are just thrilled to be here," Meghan told the audience, noting how the week ahead would be "spectacular" for all involved.
In her speech, Meghan offered a glimpse into their family's morning routine and Harry's dedication to the Invictus Games.
"With families...the big rush in the morning and getting ready for school and packing the lunchboxes and making breakfast and my husband is in all of that with all of us," she shared.
She revealed how their son reacts to Harry's involvement with the Games: "And then he'll be on his phone, and Archie will say, 'Papa, why are you on your phone?' and he's like, 'Because it's Invictus, I'm getting ready for Invictus.'"

"It means so much to him," Meghan added. "You are his family, just as we are his family."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Vancouver on Friday evening, landing at approximately 5:30pm after flying by private charter jet from Santa Barbara airport.
The couple were seen beaming as they arrived at the ultra-luxurious Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel.
They have taken up residence in the hotel's prestigious Chairman's Suite, known locally as the 'Rock Star Suite'.
The accommodation, which costs £5,000 per night, marks their base for the duration of the 2025 Invictus Games events.
