Sarah and Andrew's 10-year marriage ended in 1996 - but the pair of exes have maintained a sturdy friendship in the years since
The Duchess of York has provided an update on her relationship with ex-husband Prince Andrew amid growing speculation over the former couple's status.
Speaking on a promotional tour for her latest romance novel, Sarah was asked whether she would ever tie the knot with her ex-husband - Britain's least popular royal, according to YouGov polling.
But in a cut-and-dry rebuke, Fergie said: "I get asked that all the time! We're happy with the way we are right now, thank you."
While she was quick to shut down the line of questioning of late, the 64-year-old duchess has been a little less clear in the past.

At a prior promotional event for her writings, she was also asked whether a remarriage was on the cards.
Ferguson had replied: "He's still my handsome prince... He'll always be my handsome prince. It's lovely that we are such a family and the story has a happy ending all the time.
And she has previously declared: "We’re divorced to each other, not from each other. We are co-parents who support each other and believe that family is everything.
"I’m proud of the job we have done together in bringing up our children and sustaining a strong family unit. Our bywords are communication, compromise and compassion."

“I cannot predict, but I would be surprised if they remarried. Their relationship improved with divorce."

The Duke of York had stepped aside from official royal duties in the aftermath of his disastrous BBC Newsnight interview in 2019.
But just days ago, Andrew was mentioned twice in the Court Circular, the official record of royal engagements, despite his axed "working royal" status.
The prince was reported to have joined the King at a "Chapter of the Most Noble Order of the Garter" in Windsor Castle's Throne Room as well as a lunch party later that day which included guests like senior royals - and Tony Blair.
While in more recent engagements, Fergie was spotted stepping out at Royal Ascot last week alongside daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, as well as Princess Anne's daughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike.
