During the interview he discussed his friendship with the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.

He continues to cohabitate with Sarah at Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, despite divorcing in 1996.

Prince William, 41, announced before today's ceremony that he would not be attending.

The Prince of Wales, who was a godson of the late King Constantine, cited a personal matter as the reason for his absence and did not divulge any other details.

Princess Kate is continuing her recovery process and is "doing well", Kensington Palace confirmed.

The Princess of Wales underwent "successful" planned abdominal surgery in January at The London Clinic.

She has since returned home to Adelaide Cottage to recuperate.
