King Charles’s younger brother will not have a role at the ceremony as he is no longer a working royal.

Prince Andrew has been loudly booed by crowds as he was driven down the Mall ahead of the Coronation.

The Duke of York faced the wrath of some royal fans located at the grandstand in front of Buckingham Palace.

The Duke of York’s daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will also not participate in the historic ceremony.

The Duke of York arrived at the ceremony alongside his daughters and their husbands.

Prince Harry was also part of the group and looked painfully awkward as he arrived.

Prince Andrew is expected to be the only one of the King’s siblings that will not be on Buckingham Palace’s balcony to observe the fly over.

This week a new documentary on Prince Andrew's career-ending interview aired on Channel 4.

Andrew – The Problem Prince focussed on the Duke of York's disastrous interview with Emily Maitlis in 2019.

Maitlis executively produced the programme that featured archive footage from her 2019 BBC Newsnight interview with the royal.

In a further blow to Prince Andrew, Netflix is pressing ahead with plans to create a film depicting the royal's career-ending sit-down with Maitlis.

The film, which is titled Scoop, is billed as "the inside track of the women that broke through the Buckingham Palace establishment to secure the scoop of the decade... spotlighting the journalists whose tenacity and guts broke through the highest of ceilings".

Netflix announced the cast for the film in February, including the actors that will play the Duke of York and the former BBC journalist.

Gillian Anderson, Billie Piper and Rufus Sewell will be the leading actors in a film based on chapters from former BBC producer Sam McAlister's memoir.

Anderson will play interviewer Emily Maitlis, whilst Rufus has been cast in the role of Prince Andrew.
