The royal author released his highly-anticipated book today

Omid Scobie has shared an urgent statement about the "royal racist" after a major publishing error sparked a panic.

The royal author released his highly-anticipated book Endgame today, which was also released in different languages around the world.

In Holland, the book has had to be pulled from shelves after the Dutch translation appeared to name the "royal racist".

Scobie originally sat down for an interview with Good Morning America on Monday, where he admitted he couldn't name the "royal racist" due to UK libel laws.

In 2021, Meghan Markle claimed during her interview with Oprah Winfrey that an unnamed member of the Royal Family raised "concern" over Prince Archie's skin colour.

In a statement regarding the Dutch translation, Scobie said: "The book is available in a number of languages and unfortunately I can't speak Dutch so I haven't seen the copy for myself.

"But if there have been any translation errors, I'm sure the publishers have got it under control.

"For me, I edited and wrote the English version.

"There's never been a version that I've produced that has names in it," he told RTL Boulevard.

Elsewhere in Endgame, Scobie revealed other royal tidbits like Meghan and Harry's disappointment with Spotify rejecting many of their pitches.

In addition, Prince Harry reportedly expressed annoyance at Prince Archie not getting as much security as his cousins, despite receiving more threats, according to Scobie.

The royal author also touched on other members of the Royal Family.

For instance, he labelled Princess Kate a "part-time royal" in an attack on what he perceives as a lack of work ethic.

On the Princess Royal, Scobie also said she disapproved of Queen Elizabeth II letting go of her private secretary.

Buckingham Palace has so far refused to comment on any claims Omid Scobie has made in Endgame.
