Meghan Markle has undergone a "shift" in focus as the Duchess of Sussex looks to "remain relevant", a PR expert has told GB News.
The duchess, 43, has released a new Netflix show and brand focused on lifestyle and cookery since the start of March.
After a surprise return to social media on New Year's Day, Meghan has promoted 'With Love, Meghan' with several trailers and behind-the-look access to the production.
This shift to "a more lifestyle brand" has been highlighted by a PR and social media expert, Caitlin Jardine, at Ellis Digital, who exclusively told GB News that the royal should continue this approach to keep her audience engaged.

Jardine said: "Since her departure from royal engagements we have already seen a shift to a more lifestyle brand, her Netflix show just one example of the media opportunities that have come her way."
She should continue to get involved with these to keep her audience engaged, and use a strong digital presence to remain transparent about her life but without seeming that it is an overly calculated or coming from a place of insincerity."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they would be stepping back as senior working royals in January 2020, and later, they moved to California, where they currently reside.
Since stepping back, both Californian-based royals have engaged in projects to hit their target demographics, with Prince Harry focusing largely on philanthropy projects while his wife has leaned into her passion of cooking and gardening.

Speaking on Meghan's plans, Jardine urged the duchess to align her brand with her core following to ensure she remains relevant in the long term.
The expert told the People's Channel: "This meaning that she should be selective with her future projects and opportunities that may be presented to her moving forward, and only engage with those that continue to align with her brand being aspirational but accessible.
"As a modern thought leader and public figure, continuing to highlight her commitment to meaningful projects that she is passionate about ,will allow her to remain relevant in the long term."
