Meghan Markle is missing her actress lifestyle, while Prince Harry feels "guilty" over his wife having to give up her "dream life", it has been claimed.
The former Suits, Horrible Bosses and Get Him to the Greek star had given up on her dramatic career in 2017 upon her engagement to Harry - with one source adding the prince "knows how much she sacrificed" to tie the knot.
"Meghan has made no secret of how much she misses her care-free life when she was an actress," the source told OK magazine.
"While she'd never change what she has with Harry and the kids, there is a big part of her that she wishes she could just get her old life back."
Meghan "loved being in Suits and all the opportunities it gave her"
GettyThe insider said the Duchess of Sussex preferred the relative lack of pressure in the acting world - where instead of cutting ribbons at public engagements across the UK and Commonwealth, she could "hang out with Hollywood A-listers".
They said: "She loved being in Suits and all the opportunities it gave her - she'd get invited to all the exclusive events and get to hang out with Hollywood A-listers but there was so much less scrutiny and attention and there was no pressure on her."
But in a week which has seen Meghan tipped for a move into politics, the duchess is now understood to be considering "offers" in her former industry.
A source said: "She feels the time is right to start looking at offers as she knows she’ll be criticised whatever she does so she can cope with backlash and wants to do what makes her happy."

Meghan is eyeing up a "big comeback", a source added
PAAnd with both the Sussexes renouncing their status as working royals some years ago, Meghan is eyeing up a "big comeback", a source added.
They said: "Harry often feels guilty for Meghan having to give up on her dream life and he knows how much she sacrificed to marry him and have a family with him so he will support her no matter what.
"She has quite a few work commitments coming up but this is just the beginning of Meghan's big comeback and she'll be doing things on her terms."
One such comeback could be a Prince Harry-style autobiography, royal commentator Tom Bower told The Sun.
He said: "We're still waiting for Meghan's own autobiography, which I'm sure she's penning - she's a good writer, and it will be filled with vitriol and filled with lies.
"She will not tell the truth because she wants a sensational headline. That is the ultimate weapon she can deploy."
But, for now, Meghan's focus will likely remain on her Archetypes podcast - which GB News understands has been pushed back to 2025 following its controversial canning by execs after a single season on Spotify.
Though Markle had successfully reeled in guests like Paris Hilton and Serena Williams, execs at the Swedish sound giant had canned the podcast, with the firm's "head of podcast innovation", Bill Simmons, lambasting her and Prince Harry as "f**king grifters".
