The Duchess of Sussex has been invited to the TIME100 Summit

Meghan Markle is confirmed to join the "world's most influential people" at a major summit later this month.

The Duchess of Sussex has been invited to the TIME100 Summit on April 23, alongside celebrities like Demi Moore and Ryan Reynolds.


The website states: "The fifth-annual TIME100 Summit will feature leaders from the global TIME community to spotlight solutions and encourage action toward a better world. Speakers for the day-long event include: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and founder of As ever, actor and producer."

The Duchess of Sussex along with her husband, Prince Harry, were included on the front cover of Time Magazine in 2021.

The TIME100 Summit will be held on April 23 in New York City, with the TIME100 Gala taking place the following day.

It is not currently known if Meghan and Harry will attend the gala, which will be hosted by Snoop Dogg.

TIME Studios and ABC will also air footage from inside the gala, titled "TIME100: The World's Most Influential People," on Sunday, May 4.

The publication has additionally revealed the 2025 TIME100, its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

The issue has five worldwide covers, each highlighting a member of the TIME100: actor and producer Demi Moore, artist and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg, former tennis player and entrepreneur Serena Williams, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and co-founder and CEO of Google DeepMind Demis Hassabis.

Meghan, 43, has not been included on a front cover, although she has been invited to speak at the Summit on April 23.

The Summit will also coincide with Prince Louis' birthday, with the young royal turning seven years old.

The Prince and Princess of Wales usually release a new photograph to mark their children's birthdays.

Princess Charlotte, nine, will celebrate her 10th birthday on May 2.

It is expected the youngster will be treated to a Buckingham Palace balcony appearance the following week for VE Day celebrations.

In addition, Prince George will turn 12 on July 22, and is likely going to start a new school in September.

The Wales children all currently attend Lambrook School in Berkshire.
