The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's feud with the Royal Family looks set to continue into 2024

Meghan Markle is furious at the Royal Family as she feels she has to follow a "different set of rules" than other members of the monarchy.

Prince Harry's wife stepped down as a working royal in 2020 but was allowed to keep her Duchess of Sussex title.


Since leaving the Royal Family, Meghan and Harry have produced two documentaries for Netflix and undertaken several high-profile TV interviews.

The Duke of Sussex also published his autobiography Spare in January 2023.

The couple have been heavily criticised for sharing private details of their relationships with Royal Family members.

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York has also regularly appeared on TV shows and has written several books in recent years.

Royal commentator Neil Sean has claimed that the Sussexes are confused as to why a different set of rules seem to apply to Fergie.

Seam said: "The thing that really riles Meghan is that Fergie pops up on things like the ITV daytime show This Morning, Loose Women and billing herself as the Duchess of York, selling books and possibly doing adverts all under the Royal Family."

It comes as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's relationship with the Royal Family is at "rock-bottom", a royal commentator has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not join senior members of the Royal Family for Christmas in the UK.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams pointed to the release of Omid Scobie's book Endgame as a hammer blow to the couple's relationship with the monarchy.

Fitzwilliams said: "Endgame clearly illustrates how utterly irresponsible the Sussexes are.

"The Sussexes are totally untrustworthy in my view. They are best staying away in Montecito."

He added regarding their relationship with the royals: "Frankly, it is at rock bottom."

Endgame was published on November 28 2023 and contained a plethora of scathing attacks on senior members of the Royal Family.
