The Duchess of Sussex would be following other celebrities who have their own wine ranges
Meghan Markle is set to release rosé wine as part of her luxury brand, it has been claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex has already teased pots of jam in two separate flavours, raspberry and strawberry, as well as dog biscuits under her American Riviera Orchard label.
Meghan, 42, launched her lifestyle brand earlier this year, with several of her celebrity friends flogging the products on social media.
A source told The Daily Mail that Meghan is set to launch her own rosé wine.
Meghan Markle is reportedly a huge fan of rosé wine
It would make commercial sense for Meghan’s first product to be a wine, according to reports.
This is because the duchess would be following other celebrities who have their own wine ranges, including Cameron Diaz, George Clooney, Kylie Minogue, Francis Ford Coppola and Brad Pitt.
As a product, wines are very marketable and more financially lucrative than jam.
The most well-known celebrity wine, Armand de Brignac Champagne, was owned by rapper Jay-Z until he sold a 50 per cent stake to LVMH’s wines and spirits arm Moët Hennessy for a reported £300million.

Bottles of this champagne, also known as Ace of Spades, can sell for £315 at Selfridges.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt’s critically acclaimed Miraval rosé sells at supermarkets for around £25.
Meghan may have spotted a financial prospect in selling wine, following in the footsteps of her celebrity peers.
Rosé has long been Meghan’s favoured everyday tipple, despite naming her previous lifestyle website The Tig after the Italian red Tignanello wine.

The duchess is also a fan of a "frosé", which is made by freezing rosé wine and blending it into a slushie with strawberries and icing sugar.
Rosé also has emotional connotations for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
In 2016, on their first date at London’s Soho House, Meghan and Prince Harry reportedly drank several glasses of the pink beverage.
They would have drunk Lady A, the rosé made for Soho House executive Markus Anderson.

Anderson is one of Meghan’s closest and longest-standing friends. Not only did he attend her 2018 wedding, he also was trusted to organise her private hen party at Soho Farmhouse.
Anderson's bottle of rosé features a picture of a Damien Hirst butterfly and is made by the giant Chateau de la Coste in France.
To complement the reported wine launch, it’s expected that other products will include drinking and serving ware, bar essentials and other things related to hosting and entertaining.
