Meghan Markle and Prince Harry look set to avoid a nightmare scenario after South Park released the official trailer for its new series.
During its previous season released in 2023, the satirical animation took multiple shots at Meghan and Harry mocking their claims they want privacy despite signing lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify to publish content about their lives.
The series branded the couple "dumb" and "stupid" whilst also blasting Prince Harry's autobiography Spare referring to it as "Waaagh".
A source said that Meghan was hurt by the ridicule she and Harry were facing from the series.

They told the Spectator that the Duchess of Sussex was “annoyed by South Park but refuses to watch it all”.
The source added that Meghan had been “upset and overwhelmed” about how she was portrayed in the series.
However, a spokesperson for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry told People at the time: "It's all frankly nonsense. Totally baseless, boring reports."
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were in "serious trouble" if their popularity plummets in the US.

Fitzwilliams said: "A lot of people will be laughing at them after South Park satirised the hypocrisy of their obsession with privacy whilst being constantly on air and in print attacking the Royal Family."
He added: "If their support in America slips badly they are in serious trouble."
However in a boost to the Sussexes, neither of them are depicted in the trailer for Season 27 of South Park which is set to be released in July 2025.
Last month, some South Park fans were calling for TV series' creators to base a new episode on Meghan Markle's latest cookery show.
