San Vicente Bungalows has a strict privacy policy which bans the taking of photographs anywhere inside the club

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not been banned from an exclusive private members club in Los Angeles, an insider has told GB News.

Last week, it was claimed Harry and Meghan were banned from the $4,200-per-year San Vicente Bungalows for setting up paparazzi shots of their arrival and departure, which could have invaded other guests' privacy.

But a source close to the celebrity hideaway says the Duke and Duchess are still "more than welcome" and dismissed reports of any publicity setup.

It is understood a separate private members club in Montecito, close to the couple's $14.65 million mansion, is the source of the speculation, but this has not been confirmed.

San Vicente Bungalows has a strict privacy policy which bans the taking of photographs anywhere inside the club and even put stickers over camera phone lenses.

It is also "strictly forbidden" for members and guests to discuss anything they witness during their visit.

Prince Harry and Meghan were snapped by a paparazzi photographer earlier this year outside the club after a date night, where a side of fries reportedly costs $12.

Lots of A-List celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Hailey Bieber, have reportedly been spotted visiting the club in the past.

In June, the Sussex's estimated $25 million deal with streaming giant Spotify came to an end by "mutual agreement" after just one podcast series.

Prince Harry is working on a solo Netflix documentary to be shot in Africa, according to reports.

Meghan has signed with powerhouse talent agency WME to "focus on building Meghan's global enterprise" according to Variety, but it's thought resuming her acting career is not an area of focus.

Harry and Meghan last attended an official event together in May, where the Duchess received a 'Women of Vision' award in New York City.

Their spokesperson later described their ride home as a "near catastrophic car chase" because they were being pursued by paparazzi photographers.

At the time, a New York Police Department spokesperson said: "The NYPD assisted the private security team protecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. There were numerous photographers that made their transport challenging.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at their destination and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries, or arrests in regard."

A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan has been approached for comment.
