Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "know what they're doing" amid the couple's partnership with Princess Eugenie, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have reportedly purchased a holiday home at Portugal's exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, marking a significant property acquisition for the couple.
The luxury development, located in Melides, is already home to Prince Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie, establishing a new family connection point for the royal relatives.
The purchase brings the Sussexes closer to family members in Europe, while maintaining their primary residence in the United States.

Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank first established their connection to Portugal in 2022.
Jack Brooksbank, 38, holds a position in marketing, sales and promotion at Discovery Land Company, working for property developer Michael Meldman.
The couple have maintained strong ties to the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club development, where they currently split their time with their London residence at Ivy Cottage.
The Sussexes have made their life in the United States since 2020, where they reside with their children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Meghan, 43, and Harry, 40, will use their new Portuguese property as a holiday home, potentially creating opportunities for family gatherings.
The Brooksbanks maintain a dual-location lifestyle, dividing their time between Portugal's CostaTerra development and their London base at Ivy Cottage.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams highlighted the significance of the Sussexes' Portuguese property choice, noting Harry's close relationship with Eugenie.
"Will we see Archie and Lili meet with Eugenie and Jack's children and so on? And how will that work out? We've yet to know," Fitzwilliams told GB News.
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
"The link with Eugenie is interesting, as she and Harry are quite close," he added. "They've seen quite a bit of each other, so there are a lot of question marks there."
Fitzwilliams suggested the purchase could lead to more public appearances of the Sussex children, who have rarely been seen.
"If the Sussexes decide to let us see Archie and Lili, we haven't seen much of them, maybe with Eugenie and Jack and their family and so on, that will make a splash," he told GB News.
The royal commentator also hinted at future developments, stating: "The Sussexes know what they're doing with that Portugal purchase. We haven't seen anything yet, but we will in time."
