The couple's eviction from Frogmore Cottage has made things much harder
Meghan and Harry may never return to the UK again with the couple seriously concerned about their safety.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are thought to be worried about their security if they do not have somewhere to stay in Britain within the secure zone of one of the royal estates.
Earlier this week it was revealed that the pair had been asked to vacate their uK home of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor by the King's Coronation in May.
No alternative lodgings are thought to have been offered for the Sussexes for whenever they visit Britain.
A source told The Sunday Telegraph that the decision to move Harry and Meghan out of their Windsor-based him meant it was now incredibly "complicated" for future visits.
It risks ruining the relationship between the King and Harry forever, with the pair unlikely to often be able to see one another.
The insider also raised fears that the security issue meant that the Duke and Duchess's children, Archie and Lilibet, may never have a relationship with the King.
“It’s not just his son, it’s his grandchildren too,” they noted.
The King is thought to have asked Meghan and Harry to move out just 24 hours after the Duke published his autobiography, making a number of explosive claims about the Royal Family.
In his memoirs, called Spare, he accused Prince William of assaulting, the King of joking about whether he was his biological father, and Camilla of leaking stories about him to the media.
The news of the eviction was made public earlier this week.
Royal commentator Afua Hagan claims the timing of the leak suggests the story was deliberately placed to shift attention from the King.

"This has come out because of the real royal story, which was the King’s involvement and discussions with Brexit and Northern Ireland," she told the Express.
"That’s why this has come out, as a distraction."
On Monday the King met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen after she agreed a new Brexit deal with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
The timing of the meeting sparked anger among some politicians who accused the King of having become too political.
