Netflix have confirmed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are working on four new projects including a film.
According to an executive at the company, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are working on a “bunch” of projects for the streaming platform including a film and two “unscripted” projects.
Netflix’s chief content officer, Bela Bajara, revealed that over the next 12 months Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Productions could produce multiple different types of content.
Bajara said regarding the couple: “They actually have a bunch in development,” as she spoke at an event in Hollywood where Netflix unveiled their forthcoming films and television shows.

The chief content editor explained that Harry and Meghan are working on “a couple of unscripted things” and a film and series are in “very early development.”
Bajaria did not give any further details about what the projects may be about but it is understood that the “unscripted” project may be another documentary.
Last year, it was announced that the duke and duchess had acquired the rights to the novel Meet Me at the Lake.
It is thought that the new film may be an adaptation of the book by Carley Fortune, which is set in Toronto.

Since the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare, in January 2023 and the couple’s Netflix documentary in December 2022, there have been tensions between the prince and the rest of his family.
If the duke and duchess release another documentary revealing private information about the Royal Family these tensions may worsen.
The news comes shortly after it was revealed that Meghan may be set for “one of the biggest TV deals of the year.”
The duchess is reported to have been offered a “dream role” which would see her return to screens in a spin-off of the hit TV show Suits.
