Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be set to receive a "higher payout" from Netflix after signing a lucrative five-year deal, a commentator has claimed.
The SAG-AFTRA actors were striking for seven months in Hollywood, which just recently came to an end on November 9.
Therefore, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could see a "substantial return" on their Netflix deal following the strikes.
The couple signed a lucrative deal with Netflix in 2020, reported to be worth £80million.
This was for Harry and Meghan to produce documentaries, feature films and children's shows so they could make a living in California.
So far, the Sussexes have released their docu-series, Harry & Meghan, the Heart of Invictus documentary, and have also gained the rights to produce the romantic novel Meet Me At The Lake by Carley Fortune.
An entertainment commentator has explained how the Hollywood strikes coming to an end could help the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Entertainment expert and founder of MarkMeets, Mark Boardman told Newsweek: "With the SAG-AFTRA strike at a close, it opens up the possibility that any previously paused studio deals involving Harry and Meghan, which were put on hold during the four-month strike, may now be back on the table for intense discussions ahead of their Christmas break.

PA"Following the improved terms for creators and actors, alongside protection from potential AI use, this now presents a promising scenario for the industry and the Sussexes.
"These improved terms will lead to a substantial return on successful projects for all stakeholders with higher payments for streams."
Boardman added: "However, initial fees are likely to be lower because of this higher earning potential should the show be a success.
"For the Sussexes, this could be an opportune time to leverage the new conditions for their future projects, particularly in the production of scripted content for streaming platforms like Netflix."
