Sarah Louise-Robertson reacted to the Duke of Sussex’s decision to break his silence on divorce rumours
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new PR approach was prompted by comments on social media, according to a showbiz reporter.
Speaking on GB News, Sarah Louise-Robertson reacted to the Duke of Sussex’s decision to break his silence on divorce rumours by dismissing them outright.
The couple have been pursuing separate endeavours in recent months - a deliberate decision, according to Louise-Robertson, to garner positivity for the Sussex brand.
“Meghan clearly reads social media comments that people say about them”, she told Patrick Christys.

“As does Harry, who is notoriously brittle and thin-skinned. So some things got through to them and they’ve decided, ‘right, we’re going to try this new approach’.
“When you’ve been away from each other as much as they’ve been, this is how these [divorce] rumours start.”

She added that the couple’s decision to segregate their work has “echoes of Charles and Diane”.
“You’ve gone from being joined at the hip on the red carpet to not being seen with each other at all in public”, she said.
Patrick Christys waded in on the discussion to acknowledge the “difficult” position the Sussexes find themselves in.
The GB News host branded them as “hyper mobile” members of the world’s wealthy elite - meaning they “don’t have to be joined at the hip the whole time”.

Harry dismissed speculation about his marriage to Meghan Markle whilst speaking at The New York Times DealBook Summit in New York.
The Duke of Sussex addressed the rumours as the couple continue to make separate public appearances, with Meghan attending the Paley Honors Fall Gala in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The Duchess donned a black gown with a high slit for the glamorous event, where she supported her friend Tyler Perry.
At the summit, Harry laughed off social media speculation, stating: "Apparently we've bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well."
The Duke confirmed his commitment to life in America, telling host Andrew Sorkin: "I do. I love living here and raising my children here."
He noted his family enjoys privacy and freedoms in the US that would not be possible in Britain due to security concerns.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has described the couple's professional separation strategy as "quite successful", with each pursuing individual ventures.
Meghan is focusing on business initiatives, including her upcoming American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand and Netflix projects.
Meanwhile, Harry continues his charitable work, having recently attended an exhibition at Ki Smith Gallery in New York benefiting his charity Sentebale.
The couple have been seen together publicly just twice in the past four months.
