Meghan Markle and Prince Harry still have a presence in King Charles and Camilla's home despite their ongoing feud with the monarchy, according to author Gyles Brandreth.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have launched several attacks on the Royal Family since they left the monarchy.

Prince Harry made several digs about his stepmother Camilla in his autobiography Spare.

Despite this pictures of Meghan and Harry are positioned in a prominent place in the monarch's home, according to Brandreth.

He told Page Six: "I’m lucky enough to go to Clarence House for events to do with charities and things.

"I’m a trustee of something called The Queen’s Reading Room, which is a real passion project of the new queen."

He continued: "When you go through" Charles and Camilla’s London residence, "there are pictures of Harry and Meghan" on "the piano [and] on the mantlepiece."

Earlier this month it was announced that Prince Harry will attend his father's Coronation on his own.

Meghan Markle is not going to the Coronation and will remain in Montecito with their two young children.

The Duke of Sussex is reportedly not planning to attend the lunch after the Coronation ceremony in order to fly back to the US in time for his son's birthday.

Prince Archie's fourth birthday falls on the same day as the Coronation and Harry is hoping to be able to spend the evening with his son back in California.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "did not achieve what they wanted" during negotiations with the Royal Family, according to a close friend of the Sussexes.

A friend of the couple told People about Harry's decision: "At this point, it's become so personal."

They added that Meghan and Harry did not get what they wanted but the Duke of Sussex still wanted to support King Charles.

The source said: "Maybe what they wanted wasn't achieved, but at the end of the day, he's going there to support his dad."
