Meghan Markle will have to "resort" to becoming an influencer after her podcast was axed by Spotify, according to a royal expert.
After "failing on a global scale", US royal correspondent Kinsey Schofield expects the Duchess to begin creating digital content "because what else is she going to do".
Meghan's Archetypes podcast was scrapped by Spotify after just one series in a humiliating blow for the Sussexes.
Speaking on GB News, Schofield said today is "a really bad day" for the couple as they "struggle to figure out their identity and what their next steps are".

TedTalkShe said: "I think that today's a really bad day for Meghan Markle. She hates failing and she's failing on a global scale.
"This is a huge audience that are watching, you know, Pearl gets cancelled by Netflix before it even came to fruition.
"The Spotify you know, kicking her to the curb in front of the entire world. This is a hard time for them.
"And I think that they are really struggling to figure out their identity and what their next steps are, I think it's being an influencer.
"I think she's going to have to resort to creating digital content because what else is she going to do?"
The couple's content creation label, Archewell Audio, confirmed in a joint statement with Spotify that the podcast would be dumped.
It read: "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together."
Meghan and Harry, who stepped back from the Royal Family in January 2020, reportedly signed a $20million deal with Spotify in late 2020.

Expert Richard Fitzwilliams also blasted the end of the Spotify deal as a "shocking failure".
"The idea was that several series would be produced. Since only one was, there's no doubt the contract could be considered a failure. Clearly this relationship hasn't been as mutually beneficial."
The talent agency that recently signed Meghan, WME, told The Wall Street Journal: "The team behind Archetypes remain proud of the podcast they created at Spotify.
"Meghan is continuing to develop more content for the Archetypes audience on another platform."
