Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's "near catastrophic" car chase claim has been slapped down as their taxi driver.
Sukhcharn Singh picked up Meghan and Harry from the New York City Police Department’s 19th precinct, where they had gone to get away from paparazzi, on Tuesday evening.
Singh has called the couple's statement on the car chase "exaggerated" after speaking out on the incident.
He told NBC: "I think that’s all you know, exaggerated and stuff like that. So don’t read too much into that, you know.
The incident occurred after the Sussexes had attended an awards ceremony in New York on Tuesday.

In a separate interview, Singh told the Washington Post: "I don’t think I would call it a chase."
"I never felt like I was in danger. It wasn’t like a car chase in a movie."
On Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and her mother Doria were involved in a "near catastrophic car chase".
The incident occurred after the Sussexes had attended an awards ceremony in New York on Tuesday.
Prince Harry's spokesperson said: "Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms Ragland were involved in a near-catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi.
"This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD officers.
"While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone’s safety.
The Duchess of Sussex delivered an acceptance speech on stage after collecting her award.

"Dissemination of these images, given the ways in which they were obtained, encourages a highly intrusive practice that is dangerous to all involved."
On Tuesday, Meghan and Harry attended the 50th anniversary of the Ms Foundation for Women's award ceremony in New York.
The Duchess of Sussex delivered an acceptance speech on stage after collecting her award.
Meghan spoke of the importance of "daily acts of service" during the speech.
