A royal commentator has claimed that Meghan Markle is "well poised" to make a political move ahead of the US election after the duchess has been tipped to have "political ambition."
Sources have emerged stating that Meghan is keen to publicly endorse Democrat Kamala Harris's run for president, which could help launch her own political career.
Speaking about this to GBN America, former royal reporter for the BBC Michael Cole said: "She's made no secret of her political interest from a very young age, and all those interests have been in the Democratic cause.
"To such an extent that when former President Trump, as president, made a state visit to Britain, she absented herself.

"She didn't want to be presented to Trump. Such was her disdain for the Donald. It has been rumoured that maybe she will look towards a political career in California because there has been precedent in the past."
He added: " Meghan Markle has never been shy about making her political views known. And it is interesting that when she married Prince Harry in Britain, she did become a member of the Church of England.

"She was baptised into the Anglican Church, but she did not take British citizenship. She is not a British subject.
"So she kept her American nationality very much alive. So she would be quite well poised."
He explained: "They say in show business, there's no second act. But she had a first act, which was, of course, as a soap star with the successful show Suits.
"Then, of course, she became a royal duchess. Maybe she's got a third act as the political Meghan."

On Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex joined the virtual When All Women Vote #CouchParty alongside The United State of Women and Glamour, celebrating 100 years since the 19th Amendment allowed women to vote in the US.
Although Meghan — who was identified by her first name and the title the Duchess of Sussex — did not endorse a party, she spoke about the"change" she hoped to see in the upcoming election.
She said: "Happy to be here for my friend Michelle Obama's When We All Vote and to kick off the When All Women Vote #Couch Party.
"When I think about voting and why this is so exceptionally important for all of us, I would frame it as, we vote to honour those who came before us and to protect those who will come after us.

"Because that's what community is all about. And that's specifically what this election is all about. I think we're only 75 days away from election day.
"That is so very close, and yet there is so much work to be done in that amount of time.
"We all know what's at stake this year," she continued.
"I know it. And all of you certainly know it if you're here on this fun event with this, then you're all just as mobilised and just as energised to see the change that we all need and deserve."
