Meghan Markle will share intimate details on "sleepless nights" during her new podcast as the first trailer has finally dropped.
The Duchess of Sussex is set to launch a new podcast titled "Confessions of a Female Founder" on April 8, with the trailer released today.
The eight-episode series, produced in partnership with Lemonada Media, will feature Meghan interviewing female entrepreneurs about their business journeys.
In the trailer shared by People, Meghan introduced the podcast as "a show where I chat with female entrepreneurs and friends about the sleepless nights, the lessons learned and the laser focus that got them to where they are today."
The podcast marks Meghan's return to the audio format following her previous Spotify series "Archetypes" in 2022.
"We're diving into the highs — and the lows – and the kind of advice that turns small ideas into billion-dollar businesses," Meghan continued in the trailer. "And of course, we're going to get some girl talk!"
The Duchess promised a supportive environment for discussions about entrepreneurship.
"This is not Shark Tank, think of this as 'dolphin tank.' These are very friendly waters, it's all going to be good," she said, playfully referencing the popular business pitch programme.
The podcast will launch on April 8 and will be available "wherever you get your podcasts," according to Meghan's announcement.
"Let's do this, ladies," she concluded in the preview.
The trailer included snippets from various guests sharing their entrepreneurial experiences.
"It just started climbing and climbing, and there was 5,000, 10,000 people on our website," one entrepreneur recalled in the preview.
Another guest reflected on tougher times: "I'm broke, and no one is calling me."
A third voice shared a pivotal realisation: "I knew in that moment that I'd rather stand for something than sell a whole ton of product and stand for nothing."
The podcast won't be strictly business-focused, with Meghan also engaging in lighter conversation.
In one exchange, she playfully asked a guest: "Are you saying you're not single now? Have I missed something in the past couple weeks? What's happening?"
Meghan shared that her new podcast reflects her own entrepreneurial journey with As ever, her lifestyle brand.
"What's been meaningful is being able to talk about my own entrepreneurial journey with other female founders," she told the magazine.
The Duchess recently rebranded her venture from American Riviera Orchard to As ever, explaining there were "tons of twists and turns — even with the name."
"I appreciate everyone who was supporting and gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out," she added.
Her previous podcast "Archetypes" topped Spotify's international charts and won a People's Choice Award for pop podcast.
