The Princess of York seems to have taken parenting tips from the Duchess of Sussex

Meghan Markle has a parenting rule for Prince Archie that Princess Eugenie has vowed to use for her sons, August and Ernest Brooksbank.

The Princess of York opened up about her home life with Jack Brooksbank on the White Wine Question Time podcast.

She said: "Manners maketh man – I'm trying to do that with my kids right now."

This is a parenting tip that Eugenie likely learned from the Duchess of Sussex - who discussed the importance of teaching Prince Archie manners during an interview last year.

"We always tell him, 'Manners make the man. Manners, manners, manners, manners, manners,'" Meghan told The Cut.

Princess Eugenie, 33, spoke more about August and Ernest throughout the podcast.

She shared: "My kids are so wonderful.

"Augie is a two-and-a-half-year-old firecracker and just listens to me, I don't know why.

"And Ernie smiles the whole time so they're really easy and wonderful boys."

The mother-of-two added: "If there was a tournament in the Olympics of sleeping, I think I would win it.

"I could sleep for Great Britain as a national sport and so I think my boys have gained that talent, and they are deep, deep sleepers.

"I hate to say this to all mums listening but they are really good sleepers."

Eugenie has always had a close friendship with her cousin, Prince Harry, 39.

A royal source said: "They're still the best of friends and talk constantly."

The source also told People that the princess "understands" the duke's frustrations with living in "the royal machine".
