Meghan Markle wore a £65,050 outfit as the Duchess of Sussex hosted Afghan refugees for dinner.
The mother-of-two hosted a holiday dinner for Afghan women resettled in California through the Archewell Foundation’s Welcome Project.
The event, held at Our Place, a woman- and immigrant-owned cookware company in Venice Beach, highlighted the resilience of Afghan women while celebrating shared traditions and new beginnings.
The evening featured Middle Eastern-inspired dishes crafted by Soho House chef Shane Fatemian, an Iranian immigrant.

Speaking about the event, Meghan, 43, said: "From my standpoint, I think part of why we wanted to make sure we had this opportunity to all be together…is that as the holidays come up, it brings up so much emotion for people.
“You miss home, you miss your country, and also can find comfort in the new community that you have here."
For the event, Meghan's outfit came to a whopping £65,050.
The duchess wore a £305 sleeveless turtleneck from Leset, which she paired with £1,100 trousers from Gabriela Heart.

To accessorise, Meghan wore her £7,050 Cartier ‘Love’ bracelet as well as the late Princess Diana’s gold Tank watch.
The most expensive item worn was Meghan's Lorraine Schwartz emerald cut diamond pinky ring, estimated to be worth £56,000.
She also wore another gold bead bangle which has not been identified.

Meghan continued to tell Marie Claire: "All of you have stories to tell, and the power of you telling them and sharing them…is what will help propel the change that we all dream of.
