Before singing, the duchess turned to her husband, Prince Harry and called him: “My love.”
The heartwarming exchange took place as the duchess held a birthday cake and led the singing in a crowded kitchen.
After Meghan lit the candles on a cake, she began the countdown for a birthday song saying: “with everyone singing too.”
Another family member quipped: “It’s you first and then we’ll go after!”

Meghan, 42, wore black skinny jeans and a loose, long-sleeved blouse paired with gold jewellery for the visit.
John told CNN: “It was kind of by surprise, she [Meghan] had called my mum one random day and dropped the news on us not too long ago that she was coming to visit the kids and of course we got so excited.”
Garcia’s nephew wrote after the couple’s visit: “Meghan Markle singing my mum happy birthday was the cutest, most adorable thing ever, she even bought her a cake.”

Irma’s husband, Joe, died two days after his wife was killed after suffering from a heart attack.
John shared pictures of the Sussexes on social media and commented on how “loving and supportive” they were.
Speaking to HELLO!, John added: “It truly meant the world that Harry and Meghan showed up to visit the family, there were lots of tears of joy and heartfelt moments.
“They were the kindest, most humble people ever, it was like having family and friends over, having an amazing time together.

Meghan visited Uvalde in 2022, two days after the school shooting where she paid her respects to the 19 children and two teachers who were killed.
John explained that the couple had remained in contact with the Garcia family following the tragic event.
He said: “They keep in touch every other month, sometimes a little longer, but with their busy lives, them visiting truly felt more special.”
