Meghan Markle sends message to London just days before Princess Kate's major event
The Princess of Wales will host her annual Together at Christmas carol service on Friday

Meghan Markle sent a Christmas message to a London-based charity ahead of their carol service.
The Duchess of Sussex's statement of support to guests at UK charity Smart Works’ carol concert in central London was displayed in the programme on Tuesday evening.
The carol service was held at St Marylebone Parish Church.
Smart Works helps unemployed women with clothing and coaching to secure employment.
Meghan Markle has never attended Kate's annual Christmas Carol Service which was launched in 2021.

The Duchess of Sussex has been a patron of the charity since 2019 despite stepping down as a working royal in 2020.
Meghan's message said: "As proud patron, it is my pleasure to warmly welcome you all this evening to the Smart Works Carol Concert.
"Tonight promises to be a truly magical celebration, filled with special guests and performers, and most importantly, the shared spirit of community that defines Smart Works.
"Together we gather to honour the work and dedication of this remarkable organisation, which continues to empower women across the UK through coaching, dressing and instilling confidence on their journey to employment.
The Duchess of Sussex has been a patron of the charity since 2019 despite stepping down as a working royal in 2020.

It comes just days before Princess Kate will host her Christmas Carol service.
Final preparations are underway for Kate's annual 'Together at Christmas' carol service on Friday which is also set to air on ITV on Christmas Eve.
The event is one of Kate's most iconic annual appearances during the royal calendar.
