An royal source has said the couples titles will remain secure no matter what
King Charles will never strip Prince Harry or Meghan Markle of their royal titles, even if the Duchess were to become President, a royal expert has said.
The source close to the Palace has said that the couple’s titles will remain secure.
Robert Jobson, who wrote ‘Our King Charles III: The Man and the Monarch Revealed’, has said that even if Meghan were to become the leader of the US, stripping them of their titles is “just not going to happen”.
The titles were bestowed upon Harry and Meghan by the late Queen, as a special gift for their wedding.

When the pair decided to take a step back from official duties in 2020, they wanted a half-in-half-out deal.
However, the monarch gave them the ultimatum of all or nothing.
Ultimately, Harry and Meghan decided to choose nothing.
They were able to keep hold of their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles but had to forsake being addressed as His/Her Royal Highness (HRH).
Harry was also stripped of his military appointments.
After the Queen died last September, many wondered how Charles was going to deal with his younger son, who has been at the centre of a feud within the family.
Jobson said:: “I was at Royal Ascot the other day and I met a source, who is quite close to the Royal Family. I said, 'Well, what about all this stuff about stripping titles?'
“If you're going to have a President Meghan, then surely, they're not going to want to have their royal titles and they will be kicked out of the line succession?' I asked.
The insider source replied saying “that’s just not going to happen”.
This uncertainty over Harry’s titles comes after his public attacks on the Firm in which he has framed the Royal Family in a negative light.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
The pair have recently been evicted from their UK home at Frogmore Cottage

Despite all this, Jobson believes that Charles would never take away the couple’s current titles.
“It's just going to rock everybody and create a story that will shake the Hornet's Nest again. And as a result, it's not going to achieve anything," Jobson told the Express.
"It’s definitely very unlikely that Harry will ever be King, so why play a problem?”
Whilst it is deemed unlikely that their titles will be taken away, the same can not be said for their property.
The King evicted Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage in Windsor earlier this year, as a result of them leaving the Royal Family.
