The Duchess has claimed the @meghan handle but has yet to post
Meghan is ready to return to the world of social media, with her new Instagram page all set up and raring to go when the time is right.
The Duchess has a brand-new handle for her Instagram account and has already accumulated thousands of followers.
Meghan, who is celebrating her 42nd birthday today, has laid claim to the @meghan handle.
She has yet to post anything yet, building the anticipation with followers until the royal shares her first snaps to the new account.

Instead, there is a placeholder image of pink flowers as her profile picture, as many wait eagerly for her return into the world of social media.
Allegedly she was planning to use the page just before her Spotify podcast launch in 2022.
However, after the £34million Spotify contract was terminated last month, the couple have been looking at new projects instead.
A source close to the pair told Page Six: “Meghan was set to go live on Insta, but changed her mind shortly before she launched her “Archetypes” podcast, so it’s just sitting there now.”
The former Suits’ stars return to the popular online platform was first revealed by the Duchess to writer Allison P Davis last August.
Meghan used to be a frequent uploader on the app, prior to her marriage to Harry.
Now, Meghan seems ready to return, with a source telling Page Six: “Meghan really did want to get back on Insta."
The 42-year-old had some presence on Instagram alongside Harry, on their @sussexroyal account, but it was shut down in 2020, when they left the Royal Family.

As well as her return to social media, Meghan is returning to the public eye after time away from the spotlight.
She will join Harry at the Invictus Games in September, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The Games, which was founded by Harry, is a Paralympic style event for servicemen and women.
The competition will begin just one day after the first anniversary of the Queen’s death, which the pair are currently not invited to.
Meghan is set to oversee a farewell show for competitors and their families on the last day of the Games, German newspaper Rheinsiche Post reports.
