Meghan Markle's new friend has said the Duchess of Sussex was "royalty before joining the Royal Family".
Kelly Rowland, 42, met the with the former working royal on September 4 at Beyonce's Renaissance tour in Los Angeles.
The Destiny's Child singer posed with Meghan, 42, and actress Kerry Washington, 46, as they danced away at the concert.
Rowland stepped out at the WaterWipes event in Brooklyn over the weekend where she opened up about the duchess.

She said: "It was my first time meeting her.
"It was just nice being there with other great women and being able to just simply talk."
The 42-year-old added: "I don't know what people expect to see or to know, but she just felt very cool and very down to earth.
"She is very warm."
Rowland insisted that Meghan is very regal without even taking into account her royal in-laws.
"She was royal before she was in that family," she claimed.
"I think that we are royalty before anything.
"And we have to hold ourselves in that regard as humans, as people."

Meghan has been a longtime fan of Beyonce - having met her for the first time at the Lion King premiere in 2019.
The duchess was then honoured by the Break My Soul singer at the Brit Awards that year.
Beyonce accepted her award for Best International Group with Jay-Z while standing in front of a huge portrait of Meghan.
In 2022, Prince Harry and Meghan released a Netflix docu-series where it was revealed that Beyonce had texted Meghan to congratulate her after her Oprah Winfrey interview one year prior.
