Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance in New York City last night without Prince Harry, stunning devoted fans at a preview screening of her new Netflix show.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shocked a group of followers who had booked out a theatre to watch the opening episode of 'With Love, Meghan'.
The surprise visit took place on the eve of the show's official launch on the streaming platform.
Fans at the event had been following Meghan since her lifestyle blog The Tig days, which she ran before her relationship with Prince Harry progressed.

Meghan documented the surprise on her Instagram story, captioning a video: "A surprise in the Big Apple tonight".
"They don't know I'm coming," she can be heard saying moments before walking into the room.
The fans gasped as she entered, with Meghan asking: "What'd you guys think?"
The devoted supporters proudly showed off real tattoos reading "As ever", which is also the name of Meghan's rebranded lifestyle company.

There was also a bottle of Tignanello wine at the event, which originally inspired the name of Meghan's former blog.
The Netflix show 'With Love, Meghan' premieres today, featuring the Duchess cooking, crafting and having conversations with friends.
Celebrity guests include her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, Mindy Kaling, chef Roy Choi and Prince Harry.
To celebrate the successful surprise screening, Meghan revealed her children and husband had made her a special handwritten card.

"Congratulations mumma! We love your show, and we love you!" read the heartfelt note signed by "Lili, Archie [and] Papa."
The show was originally planned for January release but was postponed due to California wildfires.
Meghan's new Netflix series is seen by the duchess as a natural extension of The Tig, which she shut down in 2017.
She recently rebranded her lifestyle company from American Riviera Orchard to "As ever", explaining the meaning: "As ever essentially means as it's always been."
