Meghan Markle has issued her first statement since the release of her Netflix series.
The earlier reviews of the series have not been positive for the duchess as UK publications, The Independent and The Guardian, have given it one out of five stars.
The Telegraph gave the series a marginally better, but still overall disappointing, two out of five stars.
Meghan has not directly addressed the bad reviews the series has received on its launch day.

Instead, the Duchess of Sussex has issued a rallying call to her more than two million Instagram followers.
The duchess wrote on Instagram: "Today is the day! A few BTS snaps + food pictures I took on set for 'With Love, Meghan'.
"Come join the party on @Netflix."

She also referenced "healing" something "broken" in the lifestyle series which premiered this morning.
The comments come after she previously accused royal aides of preventing her from expressing her true self during her time in Britain.
The show represents a make-or-break moment for the Sussexes and their £100million Netflix deal.
