Meghan Markle has suffered a major blow as her latest Netflix show received an audience score of 2.5 out of 10 on the popular TV rating service IMDb.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, launched the eight-part cooking show With Love, Meghan on March 4.

Meghan's most popular episode was the pilot 'Hello, Honey' whilst the least popular was the finale 'Feels Like Home', according to the review service.

The drop in audience ratings suggests that the series failed to retain viewers.

The episodes varied from 2.1 to 2.7 out of a total of 10.

With Love, Meghan also received an 11% score on the Popcommeter on Rotten Tomatoes, receiving a "Rotten" label from the site.

In an additional blow to the duchess, the show received widely negative reviews from UK publications, with The Independent and The Guardian giving the Archewell production one out of five stars.

The Telegraph gave the series a marginally better, two out of five stars.

Meghan has not directly addressed the bad reviews the series has received on its launch day but has encouraged fans to "Come join the party."

The show failed to break into Netflix's top five most-viewed TV shows of the day on its release, scoring six out of ten.

It is the first solo-project Meghan has released on the platform since signing a five-year deal with Netflix in 2020.

Prince Harry released his solo series Polo in December which failed to pull in mainstream audiences.

Despite largely negative feedback, fans of the show expressed their excitement after viewing all eight episodes.

"So happy she's back on our tv."
