The Duchess of Sussex never wore her engagement ring at the Invictus Games

Meghan Markle's "missing" engagement ring holds "emotional significance" for both Prince William and Prince Harry, according to a professional stylist.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex became engaged in 2017, but since May of this year, Meghan has not been seen wearing her diamond sparkler.

Oriona Robb, a professional stylist, spoke exclusively to GB News.com to explain why the 42-year-old has not worn her beautiful ring recently.

She said: “Meghan Markle being spotted without her engagement ring, there could be various explanations.

"One possibility is that the ring might be undergoing maintenance or repair, as fine jewellery often requires occasional servicing, or that the marriage is going through a rough patch.

"Like any relationship, marriages can have their challenges, but it's important to respect their privacy and give them the space to address any possible issues without presuming the worst.

“The ring was designed by Harry himself using his mother's jewels.

"It has a centre cushion cut stone which is approximately three carats, while the round side stones add around 1.5 carats, therefore, must hold a significant amount of sentimental value.

“Considering the sentimental value attached to the ring, which features jewels belonging to his late mother, Princess Diana, it's understandable that the ring holds emotional significance for both Prince William and Prince Harry, as it serves as a symbol of their mother's legacy."

James Harris, the Regional Sales Manager at Austen & Blake also spoke exclusively to GB News about Meghan's engagement ring.

He commented: “Meghan’s engagement ring is a stunning example of the much-loved trilogy style.

"This design features three stones that are said to symbolise the past, present and future shared between a couple.

"With Meghan’s ring, there’s added sentimental value as the two smaller diamonds that frame the centre stone are from Princess Diana’s jewellery collection and chosen with obvious care by Harry.

"While we have no doubt it’s insured, the ring will still be irreplaceable for this reason.

"With this in mind, Meghan may be choosing not to wear her stunning ring daily to protect these important and meaningful diamonds.

"Alternatively, it may be in the workshop for repairs, maintenance or cleaning.”
