The clip shows Meghan drawing the digits "2025" in the sand, teasing her upcoming projects.

She has since used the profile to launch her new rebranded lifestyle project, 'as ever', and release the trailer for her latest Netflix show, 'With love, Meghan.'

Richard Fitzwilliams told GB News that if Meghan monetises her account, using it to promote her new launches, it could be "financially very beneficial".

He said: “The way things are going with Netflix that might be necessary.

"Her Instagram's has got its own appeal and she could make quite a lot of money by monetising posts.

“The way she covered Invictus. You would expect that. It has been an enormous success so when you've got a success you ought to use it and, to be perfectly honest fair, she did."

Social media expert Caitlin Jardine at Ellis Digital told GB News: “Instagram is a tool that she herself can use to take direct control of her own personal story, and of which she is doing in turning to a new chapter and redrawing the spotlight to her new life, post royal engagements.

"Her audience on Instagram is diverse but they are connected by their mutual interests in her as a modern, diverse public figure.

"With regular posting that offers exclusive insights into her projects, she can begin a more intimate and direct conversation with her fans and followers, in building anticipation but in an authentic way.

"This personal approach fosters a sense of connection with her followers, making them feel more involved in her own personal journey, and a counteraction to the typically negative press she receives, by allowing her to present her brand and projects in her own way under her own carefully curated light."
