Meghan Markle was ‘fixated’ on Kate and Diana as she demanded suites in Windsor Castle – ‘she was denied’

Schofield claimed the demands made by Markle were an attempt for her to gain things of "similar value" to the then Duchess of Cambridge.

The demands were reportedly denied by Palace staff at the time, a factor which may have added to the Sussexes decision to step away from working royal life.

Speaking on his show, Mark Dolan asked Schofield about Meghan Markle's request for "rather grand accommodation", not long after she married Prince Harry in 2018.

Schofield joked: "Isn't this interesting?"

Schofield then revealed: "Meghan Markle, after she married Prince Harry, approached the family and asked if they could have suites within Windsor Castle.

"She wanted to share the same space with the Queen, and she was denied that space for multiple reasons."

Discussing the possible reasons why Meghan and Harry were denied the suites, Schofield suggested: "I think one being that Harry and Meghan are very private individuals, and there are tours that walk through Windsor Castle.

"What were they going to do when people needed to use the restroom in Windsor Castle in the middle of their tour?!"

Schofield then explained the possible connection to Meghan's "fixation" on the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton.

She continued: "I think that this was Meghan really kind of fixated on what the Princess of Wales, the Duchess of Cambridge at the time, Kate Middleton, and Meghan trying to have something of similar value. Meghan was a Princess that wanted a castle and she was denied. And I don't necessarily think that was the wrong decision."

Mark shared his thoughts on Meghan Markle and the demands, stating: "Well, she was quite cheeky, wasn't she?

"It reminds me of when she asked Joe Biden for a lift home back to America in Air Force One.

"She's clearly something of an opportunist, but good luck to her."
