Former royal butler and close friend of Princess Diana, Paul Burrell, has called for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to "leave the Royal Family alone", following the release of a new bombshell biography.
Endgame, the latest royal book from author and unofficial Sussex mouthpiece Omid Scobie, has launched a scathing fresh set of allegations against the British monarchy.
Amongst the claims, the Princess of Wales was accused of being "lazy" and a "part-time royal", as she reportedly "avoided regular royal duties" after marrying Prince William.
The Prince of Wales and King Charles were also alleged to be embroiled in a "small scale rivalry", with William believing his father is "incompetent" as monarch.

Following the release of the book on Tuesday, royal experts have widely criticised Scobie's allegations, and questioned the possible involvement of the Sussexes with the book.
Speaking to GB News, author Tom Bower claimed that they "of course" informed Scobie, and that he is their "unofficial mouthpiece".
Reacting to the book and claims of Meghan and Harry's involvement, Burrell said the Duke should "know better than that".
Burrell added: "His mother brought him up very well, they had a very privileged lifestyle and they knew the rules."
Speaking on the claims made in Endgame, Burrell told GB News: "This information from this book is obviously coming from close sources to Harry and Meghan, and you have to remember they're no longer part of the Royal Family, they’re celebrities.
"Their only USP is royal gossip, and whilst they can spin some more royal gossip and pull the carpet from under other members of the royal family then they're relevant. This isn’t the end game, absolutely not."
He continued: "Recently I went to St. George's Chapel and I thought to myself, this ocean of goodwill, which Harry and Meghan had when they married has been drained.
“Because she didn't want it. She didn't want to be an also-ran. She didn't want to be a supporting actress. She wants to be a star. That's the real reason why they left for America. I wish them well, but leave our Royal Family alone."

Burrell then criticised the claims made against the Prince and Princess of Wales, and compared their success against the Sussexes.
He said: "Kate hasn't put a foot wrong and Kate has something which Meghan doesn't have - class. And class is timeless.
"Kate doesn’t have to answer back. She just has to keep doing what she's doing because she's doing it perfectly. You can see our King and Queen in waiting doing exactly what we want them to do.
“They are going to be sat on the throne one day, Harry and Meghan aren't, and that must be a very bitter pill to swallow, knowing that Kate will have everything at her disposal and she has a wonderful family and a loving husband beside her, and that must rankle.
"Leave The King alone, he’s the steady hand on the tiller. He’s keeping the ship safe for when William will take over."
