Meghan Markle is said to feel "uncomfortable" in the presence of Princess Kate, so will unlikely appear at major royal events a commentator has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been open about their rift with the Prince and Princess of Wales, which was exacerbated by the release of Prince Harry's memoir Spare earlier this year.
The duke disclosed information about Kate's relationship with Meghan, claiming the princess "stereotyped" his wife.
Details about wedding preparations were also shared, including a row over bridesmaid dresses which Harry claimed left Meghan in tears.
Royal author Clive Irving has dismissed the possibility of the Duchess of Sussex rebuilding her relationship with the Prince and Princess of Wales
Irving said: "I think it's unlikely ever to see Meghan in the same frame as William and Kate.
"I don't think she's comfortable with them because they're not comfortable with her.
"I think it's basically Harry's appearances that will matter now, not her," he told the Express US.
According to the commentator, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are becoming more like celebrities.

Irving explained: "Harry and Meghan's celebrity used to rest on the former's connection to the Royal Family, but they've now been celebrities in their own right for so long that they don't need to trade on that anymore. That's no longer part of their lives."
Prince Harry and Princess Kate appeared to have a close relationship during the early years of the Prince and Princess of Wales's marriage.
However, this relationship began to break down after Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020.
The couple moved to California and have only returned to the UK for major events.

When the Duke of Sussex returned for Prince Philip's funeral, he took note of conversations he had with Prince William and King Charles and later wrote them down in his explosive memoir.
But Harry's negative remarks about the Princess of Wales have reportedly "infuriated" William.
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl told The Sun: "I do know that William was very angry that Harry had drawn Kate into it when he felt Kate was blameless throughout.
"She acted very much as the peacekeeper, she tried to get the brothers back on an even keel and for Kate to be dragged into this mucky saga was upsetting for her and certainly did infuriate William."
