Meghan Markle has shared an affectionate behind-the-scenes video from her appearance at the TIME100 Summit in New York.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, posted the clip on Instagram showing intimate moments with Prince Harry, 40, following their joint attendance at the event on Wednesday evening.

The video shows Meghan greeting people at the summit and preparing to go on stage for her conversation with Jessica Sibley, CEO of TIME Magazine.

The clip was set to Aretha Franklin's rendition of "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive".

The footage appears to highlight warm moments between the couple, including the royals sharing a kiss backstage at the gathering.

Social media commenters had previously claimed that Meghan ignored Prince Harry as she stepped out of a car for the event.

Critics suggested she appeared not to notice his outstretched hand as she hugged another person instead.

During the summit, Meghan spoke about "leading with purpose" and her entrepreneurial journey, including her new Netflix venture and podcast "Confessions of a Female Founder".

The duchess wore a Ralph Lauren suit worth £3,600, paired with accessories including Princess Diana's £21,000 Cartier gold watch.

Prince Harry accompanied her, looking sharp in a navy blue suit.

The Instagram post was accompanied by a caption reading: "Feeling grateful for yesterday's conversation at TIME 100. You can read more about my experience at Sussex.com!"

The video was shared on Thursday, just one day after the couple's appearance at the summit.

According to a post on the Sussex website, Meghan's conversation was described as "dynamic" and explored how she balances her public roles with private life.

Meghan's behind-the-scenes video was shared hours after Princess Kate released footage of Prince Louis for his seventh birthday.

The Princess of Wales's video showed the young prince, who turned seven on April 23, playing and jumping from a fallen tree trunk at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

Both royals chose to share intimate family moments through social media.
