The Duchess of Sussex will release her cooking show as part of her £80 million deal with Netflix

Meghan Markle is set to use her "international pull" to attract viewers to her new Netflix series before its launch next week, a royal commentator as exclusively told GB News.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, is preparing to launch her eight-part cookery series on March 4.

Meghan announced the much-anticipated project on the duchess's personal social media, which has attracted over two million followers since its launch on January 1.

The lifestyle and cookery programme was initially set to launch on January 15 but the series was delayed following devastating wildfires in the LA region.

After its setback, 'With Love, Meghan' will be expected to pull in viewers if the royals are to continue their contract with Netflix, royal commentator Richard Fitzgerald told GB News.

The latest entry from Archewell Productions is part of a £80 million deal between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Netflix.

The five-year deal is set to expire later this year, with no official plans to continue the agreement being announced.

However, a Netflix boss has confirmed Meghan is working on a screen adaptation of the bestselling romance novel Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune, suggesting the duchess has planned to continue her work for the platform.

He told the People's Channel: "The fans would love anything that features Meghan. They have a certain core audience.

"Their brand still has international pull, and certain people who are interested in them will always watch what they do.

"This new show is classy, it deals with cookery and food."
