The Duchess of Sussex has also denied that she is a 'tradwife'

Meghan Markle denied that she is an influencer as she opened up about her entrepreneurial identity in a new interview.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, discussed her lifestyle brand "As Ever" and her Netflix series "With Love, Meghan" in People magazine.

Despite gaining two million Instagram followers, Meghan firmly rejects the influencer label.

"I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder," she told the publication, "and if the brand ends up influential, then that's great."

The interview offers insight into how she balances her creative pursuits with family life alongside Prince Harry in California.

Meghan rejects the "tradwife" label as well, preferring a more balanced approach to home life.

"I like being able to do a hybrid," she explained in the interview.

While her Netflix series showcases domestic scenes like slow-cooking berries from her garden, she maintains perspective.

Chinese food delivery is a favourite in the Sussex household.

"Even when I get takeout, I will try to plate it beautifully," Meghan revealed.

She encourages others to embrace balance rather than perfection, despite the show's polished aesthetic.

"The series is about doing what you can do," she said, "and doing it with love."

Meghan values Harry's support in her entrepreneurial ventures, saying: "To be able to be a female founder and do that with my husband's support means everything."

They also enjoy watching shows together, including Shrinking, Black Doves, and The White Lotus.

The couple recently faced personal challenges, including the loss of Meghan's beloved rescue beagle Guy, who appears in her Netflix series.

They also responded to the devastating Los Angeles fires, which prompted Netflix to delay the premiere of Meghan's show from January to March.

"I'm glad that we [paused]," she said, "and could really focus our energies on the stuff that matters."
