Meghan Markle, has launched her new podcast "Confessions Of A Female Founder" with a candid health admission during the first episode.

The 43-year-old royal sat down with her friend Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of dating app Bumble, for an intimate conversation.


The highly anticipated project marks Meghan's return to podcasting following her previous venture Archetypes.

In the podcast, Meghan opened up about her experience with postpartum preeclampsia, a condition she shared with Wolfe Herd.

"We both had very similar experiences though we didn't know each other at the time with postpartum, and we both had preeclampsia. Postpartum preeclampsia," Meghan revealed.

"It's so rare and so scary," she added.

The Duchess continued to share how challenging these health issues were while maintaining public responsibilities.

"And you're still trying to juggle all of these things, and the world doesn't know what's happening quietly. And in the quiet, you're still trying to show up for people mostly for your children but those things are huge medical scares."

Wolfe Herd emphasised the severity, stating: "I mean life or death, truly."

The new podcast will run for eight episodes focusing on Meghan's journey as an entrepreneur.

It follows her eight-part Netflix series "With Love, Meghan" which featured the Duchess making meals and crafting with Hollywood friends.
