Angela Levin claimed that Meghan Markle "copyrighted" the name Lilibet "to get her own back on The Queen"
Royal expert Angela Levin has blasted Meghan Markle after it was claimed that the late Queen was left "furious" by a claim made by the Sussexes.
The couple suggested the late monarch had given her blessing for her family nickname to be used for their daughter, a suggestion refuted by claims made in a new book.
Queen Elizabeth reportedly told Palace aides: "I don't own the palaces or the paintings, only my name, and now they've taken that."
A new book called Charles III: New King, New Court, The Inside Story, which is written by Robert Hardman, alleges that the Queen was "very angry" after Meghan and Harry used her private nickname.
Speaking to GB News, Royal expert and writer of Harry: A Biography of a Prince, Angela Levin said: "That's an incredibly sad comment, I think one of the reasons she felt that way was because it was discovered that Megan, even before Lilibet was born, had taken out the names officially so that she could use them to buy things and to identify them."
